We can offer a wide variety of trips depending on your needs and fishing experience, from uptiding on rough ground to jigging over wrecks the choice is yours.

3 Hour Fishing Sessions

We also offer 3hr 'fishing sessions' during the summer & school holidays, weather permitting, these run twice daily at 10am and 2pm and are ideal for families, or inexperienced anglers who want to try boat angling for the first time. These trips are immensely popular and involve drifting over 'rough or broken' ground 'jigging' which is lifting and lowering a set of artificial lures over the seabed, if the water is a bit discoloured we will add a strip of bait to add a bit of scent to the lure. All tackle & bait is supplied on these trips so there is no need to go out and buy your own, the tackle is comprised of a boat rod equipped with a Scarborough Center Pin Reel, line and a set of lures with a boat lead to finish it off.

All the fishing on these trips is done within 3 miles of Whitby Pier Ends, as there are some excellent fishing holding areas close in. Also we want our anglers to have as much fishing time as possible. During the summer months these areas hold a great variety of fish, including, Mackerel, Pouting, Whiting, Gurnards, the odd Ling, various flatfish & rays, (over the cleaner ground) Coley, and of course the nations favourite Cod.

The price for these trips is only £15 per person which includes all tackle & bait!!!

As we have stated before these trips are very popular and pre-booking is advised by either giving us a ring or by email. All of the details are on the Contact Us page, failing that if you could be at the 'Pontoon' which is opposite the New Angel Hotel, at Whitby Harbour at least half an hour before the trip time, we will see if there are any places left.

Experienced Angler Trips

For the more experienced angler we can offer so much more, Wreck Fishing, Reef & Broken Ground, Clean Ground or even a combination!!!. You just tell us what your party requires and we will try our best to ensure that a great days fishing is had by all!

The prices for these trips per person are as follows:

6 Hours £27.00

8 Hours £30.00

10 Hours £35.00

other hours are also available and the time of departure is up to you, but under the conditions of our license there can be no sailing during the hours of darkness, please get in touch will us and we will endeavor to meet your needs. Due to the length of these trips it is not advisable to take younger anglers, and we would encourage you to think about taking a 3 hour trip instead.

Due to high tackle losses incurred when Wrecking we do not supply bait & end tackle on these trips, we can however supply rods & reels which would be a standard boat rod paired with a Scarborough Center Pin reel.
